An excerpt from the first Guardian Australia Film Club, this event was recorded live at a theatre with an audience. For this podcast I scouted the recording location, assessed the PA system at the theatre and brought my own equipment to create the best recording possible. I mixed the live sound as well as the podcast and added an extra microphone to capture the audience's reactions in the recording.
From court to podcast...
This is an excerpt from episode 2 of The Guardian's Sydney Siege Inquest Recap podcast. For this project I did none of the recording, instead I consulted on the concept, assessed The Guardian Australia's offices for the best recording location and provided equipment and training to staff. I then mastered the audio they recorded to get the best possible quality while also ensuring the podcasts went out quickly each evening.
